Mission Statement
Partner with healthcare organizations, academic institutions and individuals to provide personal and organizational health literacy coaching and training, promote equitable and unbiased health communication and enhance health outcomes and overall wellness for people of marginalized identities.
Meet CEO & Founder
Terri Y. McGuire
Terri received her medical training at the Duke University Physician Assistant Program and Master of Public Health Degree in Community Health Education from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University with a major in Health and Exercise Science and Pre-Medicine.
She created eVolve to help close gaps in health literacy and advocate for people of marginalized identities within healthcare settings in an effort to advance health equity.
Our Services
Individual consultations
Meet 1-on-1 with a health care provider who has over a decade of combined clinical and public health experience to gain tools to sharpen health literacy and self advocacy and feel more empowered when navigating a complex medical system, difficulty diagnosis or culturally insensitive providers.
Organization consultations
Consult with health care provider with over a decade of combined clinical and public health experience, in addition to knowledge of various healthcare settings to receive a package that may include, but is not limited to an organizational health literacy assessment, recommendations for addressing gaps, training sessions and post-intervention evaluation.
